INTRODUCTION
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases, rent-to-own agreements, subscriptions, and transactions made through URBANOX SHOP.
By placing an order or entering into a rent-to-own agreement, you agree to the terms outlined below.
RENT-TO-OWN PRODUCTS
Products provided under a rent-to-own agreement are not eligible for standard refunds once the agreement has been approved, processed, and the product has been delivered.
Customers are responsible for all agreed monthly payments until the agreement has been completed or otherwise terminated in accordance with the agreement terms.
Ownership of the product remains with URBANOX SHOP until all payments have been made in full.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be cancelled before processing, approval, shipment, or delivery.
Once an order has been approved, dispatched, delivered, or activated under a rent-to-own agreement, cancellation may not be available.
Any approved cancellation may be subject to administrative, processing, or transaction fees where permitted by law.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the product ordered, the customer must notify URBANOX SHOP within 48 hours of delivery.
Supporting photographs, videos, and relevant information may be required.
URBANOX SHOP may, at its discretion:
Repair the product
Replace the product
Provide a refund where legally required
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law:
Clothing
Jewellery
Fashion accessories
Clearance or promotional items
Products damaged through misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification
All clothing, jewellery, and fashion accessories sold through URBANOX SHOP are cash-purchase items and are not included in rent-to-own agreements.
DEFAULT, NON-PAYMENT, AND RETURNS
If a customer fails to make payments under a rent-to-own agreement:
A grace period of up to 28 days may be allowed
A late payment fee of R700 may be applied after 28 days overdue
Continued non-payment may result in termination of the agreement
The customer may be required to return the product
Failure to return a product upon lawful request does not remove the customer's liability for outstanding balances, fees, damages, recovery costs, or legal expenses where applicable.
REFUND PROCESSING
Where a refund is approved, funds may be returned through the original payment method where possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers, financial institutions, and verification requirements.
FRAUD PREVENTION
URBANOX SHOP reserves the right to refuse, delay, investigate, or cancel any refund request where fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, unauthorized transactions, or suspicious activity is suspected.LEGAL RIGHTS
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African consumer protection laws.
